What is the Vacu-Pass Cord and Cable Port?
The sealed components (Vacu-Pass Cord and Cable Port) that penetrate laboratory walls are primarily utilized in P3 and P4 labs to safeguard cables and conduits, ensuring their passage through walls does not lead to leaks.
This system comprises a durable stainless steel protective ring, a pliable compression block, and a robust stainless steel pressing plate. By employing compression, it guarantees an airtight seal.
Additionally, the external protective ring serves to shield the internal compression block from any deformation caused by external forces.
Product Features
- Circular Penetration System: Designed for composite structures, accommodating multiple cables or conduits through a round opening.
- Glass Reinforced Polyester: The through-wall component includes a glass reinforced polyester sleeve for round cutouts, integrated into the transmission frame.
- Versatile Fit: Compatible with various sizes of cables and conduits and also allows for building extra capacity.
- EPDM Rubber Sealing Modules: Waterproof sealing achieved through adjustable-diameter sealing rings tailored to the cable’s diameter by peeling away excess rubber layers.
- Installation: Modules are inserted flat into the sealing component after compressing the opening against the cables with a maximum gap of 2MM, then secured with a split-type sleeve.
- Sealing Performance: After tightening cables, hex screws in the pressure unit are tightened to compress the rubber expansion and ensure leakage-proof sealing.
Different Types of Vacu-Pass Cord and Cable Port
