What is the Pneumatic Seal APR Doors?
Qualia’s pneumatic seal doors are crafted to reach flush thresholds, thus eliminating the inherent tripping hazards found in mechanical seal doors. They deliver superior air tightness in applications involving high traffic flow, wheeled equipment, or large animals. Furthermore, these seals facilitate superior sealing during cleanroom facilities and laboratory purification and fumigation processes. The framework can be used for sealing cast concrete walls, column partition walls, stainless steel panel and block engineering walls.
Additionally, its unique design allows a single individual to replace the seal strip, negating the need for multi-person door dismantling.
The working principle: When the door is open, the inflatable seal strip deflates and retracts into the groove. When the door is closed, the inflatable seal strip inflates and expands, creating a tight seal between the door leaf and the door frame, while the door gets securely locked.

Pneumatic Seal APR Doors Features
- Seal Integrity: ±2000Pa with decay less than 0.5% Vol/h over 20 minutes.
- Material: Door frames and leaves made from stainless steel 304, with frame thickness at least 5mm and door leaf at least 1.5mm.
- Welding Process: Full welding construction ensures door surface flatness does not exceed 1mm over a 1-meter range.
- Inflatable Seal: Imported from Europe; dimensions: 32*16mm, material: high-density ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM).
- Control System: Prepared for door status and air pressure alarm signal wiring.
- Emergency Deflation Valves: Located on both sides of the door; in case of power outages in the workshop, allows personnel to take emergency measures for escape. Rotating 180 degrees releases the air from the seal strip.
- Overpressure Protection: Automatic deflation if the inflation value is greater than 0.2Mpa.
- Underpressure Protection: Automatic inflation if the inflation value falls below 0.18Mpa.
- Operation Timings: Inflation: 5 seconds, Deflation: 5 seconds.
- Versatility: Can be used independently or in multiple combinations, featuring single or interlocking multiple doors.
- Integrated Operation Handle: Electromagnetic interlock is concealed within the handle.
